This Week’s Blue Heron Athlete of the Week is shared between a Blue Valley Lady Ram and a Wakefield Lady Bomber. This week’s honor goes to Brittany Pfaff and Bri Fowler. Both have had big weeks. Fowler on Tuesday night against Flint Hills Christian scored 18 points in her final ballgame on the home court; the night prior she scored half of her team’s points against Centre.
Pfaff has a great week as well; last week she averaged 16 points; 5 assists; 4 rebounds and 3 steals per game in wins over Clifton/Clyde and Frankfort. She backed that up with a 13 point performance in a loss to Hanover Tuesday. Add to this a 4th place finish in the Clay Center Power Lifting Meet in her weight class; a heck of a week.
