The Kansas City Chiefs have promoted Tyler Kirby to Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President, the team announced Friday. Kirby, now in his 18th season with the organization, previously served as Executive Vice President of Business Development. In his new role, he will continue overseeing business development while adding responsibilities for corporate partnerships, renewals, and local broadcast rights.
Chiefs President Mark Donovan said the promotion reflects both Kirby’s contributions and the organization’s commitment to internal growth. Kirby began with the team in 2008 as a Ticket Sales Representative and has since advanced through multiple leadership roles.
Under his guidance, the Chiefs have been recognized for strong ticketing and digital marketing strategies. Kirby, a graduate of Illinois State University and the University of Missouri–Kansas City, was named a Sports Business Journal Forty Under 40 honoree in 2024.
