Kansas State running back Joe Jackson and the Wildcat offensive line earned Big 12 weekly honors after a record-setting performance at Utah. Jackson was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, becoming the first Wildcat to earn the award since 2023.
Jackson rushed for 293 yards and three touchdowns, breaking Darren Sproles’ single-game school record of 292 yards set in 2004. With an additional 19-yard reception, he finished with 312 total yards, the second-highest single-game mark in school history. He is the first K-State player to top 300 all-purpose yards since 2014.
K-State’s offensive line helped produce 472 rushing yards, breaking a 71-year-old school record. The Wildcats averaged 11.2 yards per carry and totaled 574 yards of offense, tied for the eighth most in program history.
