K-State Women’s Basketball Dominates Utah in Second Half

(12/10) Kansas State stormed past (22/22) Utah, 71-47, after a dominant second-half performance Wednesday night. The Wildcats extended their winning streak to 11 games, improving their record to 16-1 under head coach Jeff Mittie, who tied for second in program wins at 206.

Four Wildcats scored in double figures, led by senior guard Serena Sundell with 15 points and five assists. Senior center Ayoka Lee contributed 14 points and six rebounds, moving into the NCAA Division I top 100 career scoring list. Jaelyn Glenn recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Temira Poindexter added 11 points.

K-State led 31-22 at halftime but pulled away with a 14-4 third-quarter run. The Wildcats shot 49.2% overall, holding Utah to a season-low 30% shooting. K-State continues its Utah road trip Saturday against BYU.
