Kansas Manufacturing Summit Celebrates Innovation and Workforce Development

The Kansas Chamber and Kansas Manufacturing Council wrapped up Manufacturing Month with the 2025 Kansas Manufacturing Summit, held October 27–28 at the Hyatt Regency Wichita. The two-day event brought together manufacturers, educators, and community leaders from across the state to celebrate Kansas-made products and address key issues shaping the industry’s future.

The Summit also announced winners of the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Kansas contest, highlighting creativity and craftsmanship: Lindsay Corporation won the Coolest Thing Made in Kansas Award for its Light Guard Pulse, and Bess Machining LLC received the People’s Choice Award for its Pivot Sign Device.

Sessions focused on workforce development, leadership, innovation, and supply chain solutions, providing attendees with opportunities for collaboration, networking, and policy discussions aimed at strengthening Kansas manufacturing.

The event honored Kansas manufacturers of all sizes, showcasing the industry’s impact on communities, families, and the state’s economy.
