LeGrand, Clinton Hit Career Milestones in Five-Set Win at Cincinnati

Kansas State celebrated milestones while defeating Cincinnati 24-26, 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 15-7 Friday night at Fifth Third Arena.

Ava LeGrand recorded her 700th career assist, finishing with 53 assists and 18 digs, while Aniya Clinton reached 600 career kills, adding a career-best 25 kills and 15 digs for her third double-double. Shaylee Myers also posted a double-double with 24 kills and 11 digs, and Jordyn Williams contributed a career-high 12 kills. True freshmen Caleigh Ponn and Symone Sims each recorded double-digit digs, helping K-State hold a 77-69 advantage in digs.

The Wildcats hit a season-high 79 kills and maintained a .255 hitting percentage while winning their fourth consecutive five-set road match.

K-State (9-3, 2-2 Big 12) returns home for Big 12 play, hosting Iowa State Wednesday and Texas Tech Friday, both with first serve at 6:30 p.m.
