K-State senior Shaylee Myers was selected 16th overall by the Atlanta Vibe in the 2025 Major League Volleyball draft on Monday. The Lincoln, Nebraska, native was the eighth pick of the second round and one of three Big 12 players chosen.
Myers’ strong senior season included three Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week awards. She ranks among the national leaders in kills per set and points per set, leading K-State with over 428 kills and 4.76 kills per set. She is also nearing 1,000 career kills, needing 41 more to reach the milestone.
She becomes the second Wildcat drafted into the league, joining Sydney Bolding, who went 11th overall in 2023.
Myers said she is grateful for the opportunity and thanked her family and coaches for their support.
