Vitacorps, a leader in residential health and wellness in military environments, is bringing its Residential Wellness Program to Fort Riley. Aligning with the DOD’s Resilient and Healthy Defense Communities Strategy, Vitacorps’ science-backed approach creates healthier living environments for soldiers and their families.

Tom O’Donnell, Vitacorps Head of Customer Success, said Fort Riley is the third Army installation in the country to offer this solution, including Fort Meade and Fort Bragg. He spoke about Vitacorps coming to Fort Riley.

“I’m excited to announce that this program is going to benefit over 1,400 families at Fort Riley.”

“We are really responding with a new approach, integrating wellness technologies directly to this family housing on post.”

“What we’re doing is we are implementing a Wellness Solutions Program to help bring air, water, light quality, as well as excess humidity, up to certifiable standards.

“Creating homes that really promote well-being, quality of life, and resilience for our nation’s soldiers and their families.”

The evidence-based solution includes a seven-step process, ensuring each home is equipped with the correct solution based on the data collected on-site.

With the large amount of controlled burns throughout the Flint Hills and the notable allergies in the state, this wellness solution is key in creating healthier living conditions.

Along with healthier families, O’Donnell said this program creates healthier soldiers.

“Wellness Solutions create healthier homes, and healthier homes foster healthier service members and their families.”

“With this, these healthier service members can perform at their full strength, leading to greater overall readiness and lethality that the DOD is looking for to protect our country.”

Implementation has begun on Fort Riley, and O’Donnell said they hope to expand this program across the United States and beyond. Learn more about this Program at www.vitacorps.com.
