KDOR and Tyler Technologies Introduce Portal for Property Value Information

By Trish Svoboda

The Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR), in collaboration with Tyler Technologies, unveiled Assessment Connect today. This new application allows KDOR’s Property Valuation Division to access statewide property appraisal data and offers enhanced analytical tools for county appraisers. The initiative also includes the Kansas Property Valuation Division Data Portal, a public website providing current and easily accessible property value information.

The introduction of Assessment Connect represents KDOR’s continual effort to simplify the property appraisal process while enhancing transparency and accountability. By offering this data to the public, KDOR aims to help citizens to make informed decisions regarding their property and community.

“We’re excited to launch this new site and provide Kansans with easy access to important property valuation data,” said David Harper, KDOR Property Valuation Division Director. “We believe that transparency is key to building trust between government and citizens, and this site is an important step in that direction.”

Assessment Connect’s open data portal will include appraised value data on all property types from every county in Kansas. Kansans will have access to the latest information presented in user-friendly charts and graphs for easy comprehension.

The site is available to the public free of charge and can be viewed at https://ksopendata.ksrevenue.gov/
