Marshall County Arts Cooperative’s Annual Golf Tournament

The Marshall County Arts Cooperative’s annual golf tournament, Swinging Fore the Arts, will be Saturday, July 29. The tournament is a four-person scramble at the Marysville Country Club. The course will fill up at twenty teams.

The cost is $100 per golfer and includes green fees, breakfast and lunch.

The tournament is a fundraiser for the arts cooperative. The cooperative uses the money raised to bring professional artists to the county to work with students and perform for area residents.

The cooperative’s tournament is filled with artistic touches.

A celebrity golf team from KCLY radio, Clay Center, will play in the tournament.

Registration for the golf tournament will be at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9.

“Peace, Love and Holes-in-One” is the theme for the tournament; teams are encouraged to dress as tourists.
