The Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a report on August 10th about a theft at CTI-John Deere/Prairieland. According to a police report, surveillance footage shows two suspects pull up in a late model Dodge crew cab, single rear wheel pickup at 3:09 a.m. The suspects then hitched the vehicle to a flatbed trailer owned by CTI-John Deere/Prairieland, loaded a UTV and a mower onto the trailer, and left the scene with the stolen equipment. The estimated property loss is reported at $52,297.39. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with any information to contact them at 785-632-5601
