Cloud County has hired Jeffrey Metzler as their newest full-time nursing instructor. This makes him the first ever full-time male nursing instructor at Cloud.
Metzler has provided various levels of nursing care over the last nine years. He has experience with emergency care, pediatrics, and mental health care. His specialty is geriatric and acute care. He is currently pursuing higher education to receive a master’s in Nurse Educator Specialization. He comes to Cloud with a variety of certifications including one in mental health first aid.
At Cloud, he will be the primary pharmacology instructor. He will assist with clinical instruction and teach students about acute care. He will also be the faculty sponsor for the Student Nurses Organization.
