K-State-Themed Race Car Roars to Life at Kansas Speedway: Wildcat Pride on Wheels

By Jayson Henderson

In an exciting partnership between Kansas State University and Jeremy Clements Racing, Wildcat fans have an additional sporting spectacle to look forward to this weekend. The K-State-themed race car, driven by Jeremy Clements, will make its debut at the Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR XFINITY race at the Kansas Speedway.

Clements’ No. 51 Chevy will be adorned in vibrant purple, proudly displaying official K-State logos on the front hood, doors, and back bumper. Fans nationwide can catch the action at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with NBC broadcasting the race.

This unique partnership was made possible by K-State Alum and supporter, Jim Bob Morris, who believes that “Kansas State is a winner wherever they go.”

Jeremy Clements, whose racing journey began at a young age, has achieved significant success in NASCAR’s national level, including his memorable win at Road America in 2017 and a recent victory at Daytona International Speedway in 2022. As he gears up for the Kansas Speedway race, Clements aims to add another accolade to his growing list of achievements.
