The North Central Kansas Medical Center Volunteers have received the Hospital Volunteers of Kansas Gold Award of Excellence for the 35th year in a row. This award is earned by completing nine requirements during the year. These volunteers donate their time when the Bloodmobile comes to Concordia. They also provide and serve meals for some of the visits. The NCK Medical Center Volunteers have hosted fundraisers such as a fall bake sale, scrub sales, and more. The funds raised have been used to purchase items like salad bars and stainless-steel food carts for the hospital. The North Central Kansas Medical Center Administration is very proud of their volunteers.
