Clay County Historical Society and Clay County Museum Will Host “Stories of Your Past”

On Saturday, October 14th, the Clay County Historical Society and the Clay County Museum will host “Stories of Your Past,” where four reenactors will portray four Clay Center residents of years gone by, and share their experiences in Clay Center. Heather Drieth will portray her grandmother, Evelyn McIntosh, the wife of the president of People’s National Bank. Scott Patterson will portray Bob Weimer, the owner of Weimer Drugs. Steve McMahan will portray his father, Wilson McMahan, who started Central Office & Supplies. Troy Pfizenmaier will portray Rex Carlson, owner of Gate 9 Graphics. 

            The tour starts at 10am at the Clay County Museum and will make four stops along Lincoln Avenue in downtown Clay Center. Tickets are $10 each and must be purchased in advance at the museum.
