Clay Co., Kan. — Maybe you’ve heard of American Pickers before or seen their series on the History Channel. Either way the group reached out to Grow Clay County about being in the area in a couple of months to pick through antiques.
The pickers are on the hunt to find forgotten relics and the stories behind them.
That’s Anthony Rodriguez, the Senior Story Producer for American Pickers. He says they will be making their way through in April.
If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the pickers can spend the day looking through contact American Pickers.
Details on the different ways to contact them can be found on the KCLY Facebook page.
This wouldn’t be the first time the pickers have made their way to the state or in the KCLY Community. A few years ago, they visited what used to be a Car Museum in Abilene. The building where it was located is now the Dickinson County Heritage Center.
