It has now been two weeks since the Kansas courts computer system went offline. So far, The Office of Judicial Administration has not elaborated upon the situation, only referring to it as a ‘security incident.’ WIBW talked to Kansas attorney Rene Netherton, who said that though The Office of Judicial Administration said the issue would be solved by October 27th, he believes this is not the case. He goes further to explain that attorneys have not heard any more than the public, citing the OJA’s October 16th public news release as the most recent update on the situation they have received. 

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has also begun their own investigation into the event alongside the FBI. For now, though, all operations will continue on pen and paper.
