American Legion Auxiliary Meeting

The regular monthly meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary will be Wednesday November 8th at 7:00 p.m. at the Clay Co. Museum. The members and the community are invited to bring Christmas gifts for the families of the veterans at Colmery O’Neil Hospital, Topeka KS. Gifts need to be turned in by Saturday, November 11th to arrive at the hospital no later than November 18th.

Suggestions of gifts that are most readily accepted: gift cards, jewelry, makeup, electronics, curling irons, headphones, small tools, towel sets, throws, stuffed animals, dolls, toys, and electronic games.

This year, they are asking not to send clothing. Gift cards are an easy and perfect for all.
