Twin Valley recently awarded nearly $17,000 in grants as part of its community pledge, which is to support local outreach initiatives. The Community Grant Program focuses on filling local needs, with an emphasis on digital inclusion efforts.
One of the grants, a total of $4,239, went to The Glasco City Library to upgrade and expand their technology lab. They plan to purchase new computers, workstations, software, charging stations, and power strip towers. The library is an important resource for many rural citizens in Glasco.
The Miltonvale Chamber also received a grant, totaling $1,000. They plan to add signage for different events in the community, like the farmers market and TootleFest.
