K-State secured its second top-10 win of the season as the Wildcats beat Texas at Bramlage Coliseum on Saturday afternoon, winning 61-58. This marked K-State’s 11th straight win, the longest winning streak for the Wildcats since 2008-09, improving their record to 17-1 and 5-0 in the Big 12.
Senior center and All-American Ayoka Lee led with her sixth double-double of the season and the 55th of her career, scoring 21 points on 8 of 12 shooting and going 5-of-5 from the foul line. She also contributed 10 rebounds, four blocks, a steal, and an assist. Lee became the fourth player in program history to surpass the 2,000-point mark in a career and the K-State leader for career blocked shots with 284 blocks, ranking ninth overall in Big 12 history.
Two other Wildcats also reached double figures, with Serena Sundell scoring 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block, along with Jaelyn Glenn, who notched 10 points, including a 2-of-5 effort from long range, three rebounds, and two steals.
