Last night, Monday, January 22, the Clay Counts Coalition held their second Courageous Conversations event at The Rex Theatre in Clay Center.
The Coalition said they were inspired by the turnout of the first Courageous Conversations event held back in November and organized a second event with the goal of continuing their public outreach.
The night’s event had two presentations. The first presentation was given by USD 379 Counselors Lisa Last and Nick Brummet, who shared tips and tricks for parents on managing their kids’ social media use:
The second presentation was given by Pawnee Mental Health’s Crisis Director Brynn Haverkamp, who shared about Pawnee’s upcoming Mobile Crisis Unit:
The Clay Counts Coalition says they plan to continue to organize monthly Courageous Conversations nights to share mental health resources with the community.
