2024 Winter Homecoming for CCCHS

The 2024 Winter Homecoming will take place on February 9th. The crowning will take place between the Girls Varsity and Boys Varsity games against Marysville.

Morgan Brumfield is the son of Allen and Lori Brumfield. Throughout high school Morgan has participated in wrestling and baseball, lettering in both. During his free time he loves to hunt and fish. Morgan is currently interning at Twin Valley as a Maintenance Tech. Morgan is keeping his options open after high school.

Addyson Gurney is the daughter of Steve and Apryl Gurney. Addy has been an active member at CCCHS, with some activities including, FCA, FBLA, National Honor Society, the Roar Store, Tiger Chorale, and Tiger Twirling. She is also an active member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church and serves as the youth group president. Next year, Addy hopes to continue twirling at the college level, while majoring in Early Childhood Education. 

Isaac Pfizenmaier is the son of Brad Pfizenmaier and Apryl Peerson. Isaac has been a member of FFA and the Tiger Varsity Golf team his entire high school career. Isaac interns and is employed at Martin Farms. After high school Isaac will attend Kansas State University to major in Ag Business or Agronomy.

Emily Hood is the daughter of Jayson and Jennifer Hood. Emily attends Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she is active in the youth group. She has served as a class representative for three years. Emily has been an NHS member and has received an Academic Letter for three years. She has worked at the Clay Center Country Club and Clay County Medical Center for most of her high school career. Emily enjoys hanging out with her friends, playing card games, and Movie nights with family. She plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the fall to major in Business Management and Accounting.

 

Talyn Pfizenmaier is the son of Brandon and Jill Pfizenmaier. Throughout high school he has participated in Football & Wrestling for four years. Talyn is currently employed at Riverscreen, Inc and is interning there this school year. Talyn is a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and he enjoys sports and outdoor activities.  After high school Talyn plans to attend a technical college. 

Madison McCann is the daughter of Justin McCann and Angela Brubaker. She serves on the Student Council as the Senior Class Representative. Throughout high school Madison has participated in volleyball and basketball for three years and is a four year letter winner in softball. Madison interns at Patterson’s Health Mart. After high school she plans to study Nursing and Allied Health at Cloud County Community College and pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing through Fort Hays State University. 

Justin Wright is the son of Wes and Kristin Wright. He is a three-year starter for the basketball team, a three year letter winner in baseball, and also participated in cross country and powerlifting. Justin serves as an FCA leader, senior class Secretary, Vice-President of FBLA, and President of the National Honors Society. He attends St. Paul Lutheran Church and is a member of the United Methodist Church Youth Group. Justin will attend Friends University next fall where he has committed to play basketball and major in Health Management. 


Tansy Wichman is the daughter of Paul and Amy Wichman. Tansy has been very involved in choir and has been in Tiger Chorale for the past two years. She served on the Student Council for three years and served as junior class President. Tansy is a TA for Mr. Wichman at Garfield Elementary School. After school Tansy works at Clay County Medical Center in the ER doing registration. In July, Tansy plans to attend Bellus Academy and get her cosmetology license.
