On March 1st at 7:00 p.m., the 2nd at 7:00 p.m., and the 3rd at 2:00 p.m., The Brown Grand Opera House will take audience members on a journey to wonderland.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland does give a modern view to an old classic, but there will still be the usual characters including talking animals, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and more.
The Director of the Brown Grand Opera House, Melissa Swenson, expressed her excitement for the play. “We are thrilled to incorporate the Brown Grand Players into our season! The Brown Grand Opera House and The Brown Grand Players are two separate entities. The Brown Grand Players are our Theatre in residence, but we do operate as our own, independent organizations. It has been years since the Players have officially been part of the season at the Brown Grand. We find that this partnership is mission centered for the Brown Grand as it helps us to enhance cultural life in North Central Kansas.”
The show will feature around 30 local actors.
