Rohling Homestead Uses Easter Fun to Help Families in Need

By Ryan Duey

Rohling Homestead, a veteran-owned family farm full of family-friendly activities outside Manhattan will be holding their 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt Fundraiser on Saturdays, March 16th, and March 23rd from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be a large number of different attractions with all proceeds going to support a family in need.

Wayne Rohleder, Rohling Homestead owner, says they donated proceeds the first two years to St. Jude. They now look to help local families.

All proceeds for this year’s Easter Egg Hunt will go to the Beamer family, who have two young sons battling a disease due to a birth defect and have already been through multiple surgeries. Rohleder says they really need our help.

The entry fee is $5.00 per person, and there will be a food stand and raffle prizes on top of all the other activities. For more information on the Rohling Homestead and their Easter Egg Hunt Fundraiser visit their website or Facebook Page.
