Latest Clay Center Mural To Appear On CVA Bin

By Quinn O’Hara

In a press release on Tuesday, February 27th, A Mural Movement announced they will be painting a new 3,200 square foot mural on a CVA Bin in downtown Clay Center.

The group has brought back artist Christian Stanley to paint the new mural. Stanley previously painted the ‘Sunflower State of Mind’ mural on the Wardcraft Home Store. Stanley said previously that “Being a part of A Mural Movement was an amazing experience” and that he is proud to have been able to be a part of the program.

The new mural will be funded by an $8,000 grant from the Clay Center Community Improvement Foundation. The new mural is planned to be installed in late April of this year.

The A Mural Movement Committee said it would like to extend a big “thank you” to CCCIF, CVA, and all of their donors who made this project and others possible.
