The Kansas City Chiefs have secured one compensatory pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, bringing their total number of selections to seven. Compensatory picks are awarded to teams that lost significant free agents the previous year, based on a formula involving salary, playing time, and postseason honors. The newly acquired pick falls in the fifth round, specifically at No. 172 overall. The Chiefs’ draft lineup now includes picks in the first, second, third, fourth, and two fifth rounds, as well as one seventh-round selection. The 2024 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25 in Detroit.
