Wildcats Basketball: Carter and Finister Enter Transfer Portal

Junior Cam Carter and redshirt freshman Dorian Finister have entered the transfer portal from the Wildcats basketball team. Both players contributed significantly to the team’s success, helping secure 45 wins over the past two seasons and reaching the Elite Eight in 2023. Cam Carter started all 70 games of his K-State career, averaging 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. In the last season, he averaged 14.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. Dorian Finister played 19 games, averaging 2.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game after redshirting the previous season. The Wildcats finished the 2023-24 season with a 19-15 record, reaching the NIT, with wins over four Top 25 teams. Under head coach Jerome Tang, the team has won 45 games, including consecutive postseason appearances.
