On Saturday, March 23, Wakefield PRIDE held their annual easter egg hunt.

The hunt had participants grouped into divisions based on their age. The hunters gathered at the starting line, and once the signal was given to begin hunting, ran off to collect as many eggs as they could.

Besty Striggow-Liebau, the event’s organizer, said the event had enough toy and prize donations that Wakefield PRIDE was able to give 5 Golden Eggs for each age division. Liebau said the prizes included bikes and scooters with helmets and knee pads, soccer balls, 3 pool baskets with pool passes, roller skates, two fishing sets, and more.

Liebau said the egg hunt had a good turnout despite the wind and cold temperature.
