Casey Richard of Miltonvale, KS has been appointed to the Agricultural Remediation Board by Governor Laura Kelly. This board consists of seven members that have been governor appointed, as well as one volunteer board with one agricultural retailer, one agricultural producer, one agricultural processor, one specialty chemical distributor, and one agricultural and specialty chemical registrant. They meet quarterly and oversee administering the Kansas Agricultural Remediation Fund. This means they review applications and distribute the funds to those who are eligible; the funds go to approved expenses.
