The Clay Center Varsity Tigers dominated two games against the Beloit Varsity Trojans, winning 14-0 and 11-0. In the first game, they secured their victory with a strong offensive performance, with nine runs in the fourth inning. Pitcher Cole Pladson led the Tigers to victory, while Owen Craig excelled both on the mound and at bat, contributing to the team’s success. The Tigers collected nine hits and six walks in the first game. In the second game, the Tigers continued their dominance, with Pladson, Carter Long, Morgan Brumfield, Isaac Berggren, and Brody Hayes leading the scoring efforts. Owen Craig’s pitching shut down the Trojans, allowing zero hits and runs. Up next Clay Center Tigers will be taking on the Abilene Cowboys on April 16th.
