Poultry Meeting to be Held in Clay Center May 24th

Join the River Valley District for a Basics of a Backyard Flock meeting with guest speaker Dr. Scott Beyer, K-State Animal Science Department Poultry Specialist, as he presents on tending to a small flock in a backyard setting.

Learn from the ground up on what it takes to make your flock flourish in your backyard with the basics of raising chickens. Dr. Beyer will also discuss how to monitor signs of avian influenza in chickens and how to manage if it is present in the flock.
