Clay Center’s most recent mural is almost finished.

Painted on the side of CVA’s 45 foot tall and 86 foot wide grain bin, the mural features several massive bison running across the open prairie. The artist behind the mural, Christian Stanley of C. Stanley Creative, shares his inspiration for the work.

The new mural joins 28 other murals organized by A Mural Movement and painted in Clay Center and the surrounding communities. Stanley said he was delighted to be invited back for a second mural in Clay Center, having painted ‘A Sunflower State of Mind’ back in 2022
