The 16th Annual Nelson Family Community Foundation Benefit kicks off today, June 7th at 5:00 p.m. With activities and fun running through tomorrow, June 8th in Leonardville.

This year’s Benefit will feature many activities including: a Barbeque and Corn Hole Tournament tonight, a Golf Tournament, a Drive or Ride Event, Live Music, and Auctions tomorrow. Patrons of age can also enjoy the beer garden both days, with food vendors being there on Saturday.

This year’s Benefit will help three area families in need. This year’s recipients are Haisley Dow, Harold Oliver, and Riley & Kenzi Beard. These four are battling different ailments that have required many hospital visits as they fight to get back to normal life.
