MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State signed cornerback Jordan Dunbar on Tuesday, marking the team’s fourth FBS transfer of the spring window. Dunbar, who redshirted the 2023 season at Rice, has two years of eligibility remaining. He joins running back Dylan Edwards (Colorado), linebacker Alec Marenco (New Mexico), and quarterback Ta’Quan Roberson (Connecticut) in the spring transfer class.

Hailing from Tarrytown, New York, Dunbar played 25 games with 21 starts at Rice. He earned All-Freshman C-USA honors in 2021 and All-Conference USA Honorable Mention in 2022. In 2022, Dunbar tied for ninth in C-USA with 10 pass breakups and had a career-high seven tackles against Houston.

Kansas State, finishing the 2023 season ranked 18th in the AP Top 25, begins the 2024 campaign by hosting UT Martin on August 31.
