The final results of the Great Manhattan Community Foundation’s (GMCF) 2024 Grow Green Match Day has been announced. 7,089 gifts were spread to 90 charitable causes from 1,850 different donors. After adding the matching funds from generous foundations and donors just under $2.2 million was raised. All these numbers exceeded last year’s numbers.

Vern Henricks, President and CEO of GMCF, said they had an excellent day. When spread around the 90 causes you can see how blessed they are by the community he said.

Grow Green Match Day started in 2013 and has continued to grow. Henricks said this day really was inspired by Phil Howe.
