Ten Wildcats Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

MANHATTAN, Kan. – On June 18, ten K-State track and field athletes earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators. The honorees include five women: Urte Bacianskaite, Cecilia Fisher, Jasmine Greer, Daisy Monie, and Emma Robbins; and five men: Nate Collier, Tommy Hazen, Tim Lambert, Emil Uhlin, and Andrew White.

Bacianskaite, Collier, Greer, Hazen, Monie, and Uhlin are now eligible for the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Bacianskaite, with a 3.57 GPA in athletic training, recently finished 12th in the NCAA Championship heptathlon. Collier, a kinesiology major, medaled in the Big 12 Championship discus throw. Fisher, with a 4.00 GPA in secondary education, excelled in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Greer, a statistics and data sciences graduate, medaled in multiple events. Hazen, an operations and supply chain management major, advanced to the West Preliminary. Robbins, Uhlin, and White also made significant contributions, with each maintaining impressive GPAs and advancing in their respective events.
