Clay County Animal Rescue and Education Center, (CCARE) will host a “Christmas in July” ornament painting event on Sunday, July 14th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Shelter in Clay Center.

This come-and-go event allows attendees to choose a Christmas ornament or plate to paint, with a portion of the proceeds for purchasing the ornament or plate going to CCARE. There will be many designs to choose from.

This event is sponsored by The Purple Door in Miltonvale, which is providing the supplies. After completion, the projects will be fired in a kiln and ready for pickup in a few weeks. This is a cash only event, and all supplies will be provided. This is a Fundraiser for all ages. No registration is required, and the event is open to anyone.
