Governor Laura Kelly announced today that Ana Nixon has joined her administration as communications director.
Prior to joining the Kelly Administration, Nixon served as the internal communications senior supervisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Her previous roles include communications specialist at Fike Corporation and public information officer for the City of Grandview, Missouri.
“I’m honored to be part of Governor Kelly’s team and lead communications efforts for her office,” said Ana Nixon. “I’m eager to help Kansans have greater insight of matters of their government.”
Nixon earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora in Brazil, and a Master of Arts in Communications from the University of Kansas.
