Next Clay County Community Health Assessment Rolling Out This Fall

By Quinn O’Hara

The Clay County Medical Center is partnering with the Clay County Health Department, USD 379, Grow Clay County, and K-State Extension to create, distribute, and survey Clay County residents for the new 2024 Community Health Assessment.

A new assessment is required to be performed once every three years. Bryce Dolan, CCMC’s Development and Foundation Director, said the assessment will be pushed out to residents this fall through email. Dolan said the goal is to get an accurate snapshot of the overall health of the county.

Dolan said the biggest hurdle to completing a community health assessment is getting responses. He urged folks to fill out the survey once it is available to help provide Clay County officials with up-to-date data on the health of the county.
