Three Chiefs Make ESPN’s Interior Offensive Line Rankings

By Jayson Henderson

The Kansas City Chiefs boast a top-tier trio of interior offensive linemen, with Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith all ranking in ESPN’s top 10.

Guard Joe Thuney secured the No. 4 spot, Creed Humphrey was ranked No. 7, and Trey Smith landed at No. 9. The Chiefs were the only team to have multiple players in the top 10.

Thuney earned recognition for his elite pass-blocking skills, leading the NFL with a 99.1% win rate in pass-block situations. Creed Humphrey, the consensus top center in the league, continued to receive high praise, being the first center listed in the rankings. Trey Smith, a sixth-round pick in 2021, has developed into a top offensive guard, ranking ninth overall.

This trio’s performance highlights the strength of the Chiefs’ offensive line, making them one of the best groups in the NFL.
