For the sixth consecutive year, the University of Kansas Medical Center is collaborating with Kansas Country Living magazine to hold an amateur rural Kansas photography contest.
Kansas Country Living aims to educate Kansas electric cooperative consumer-members on issues affecting rural electrification. With a circulation of over 133,000, it serves as a communication channel, building member support for electric cooperatives in Kansas while providing the latest news, energy efficiency tips, emerging technologies such as electric vehicles, and electrical safety information.
The Kansas Country Living editorial team will select a $100 grand-prize-winning photograph from all entries, which will be featured on the January 2025 cover of the magazine. The 2024 Rural Kansas Photography Contest will be open for entries from August 22 through September 30
