Kansas State University invites the public to explore and celebrate global faiths at its World Religions Festival, on August 27th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Forum Hall in the K-State Student Union.
The event features two hours of TED-style talks by religious leaders from Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and newer religions like Bahai, Daesoon Jinrihoe, and Cao Dai. The program includes musical performances, videos, and spiritual practices from diverse traditions. A one-hour reception with free food and religious exhibits follows.
The festival aims to foster cultural understanding and showcase K-State’s inclusive environment. Key participants include international guests and local religious leaders, with K-State faculty and students sharing their talents.
The event is organized with support from K-State’s Anthropology Club, ARETE, and various sponsors.
