Sheron L. Swearingen, age 75, of Blue Rapids, passed away in Manhattan after a short illness on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

Sheron was born April 30, 1949, at Kansas City, Missouri, to Charles W. and Margaret “Mickie” (Jopling) Dixon. She was married to Rankin “Rank” Swearingen at their home outside Blue Rapids in 1992.

Respect calls will be from noon to 8:00 pm, Saturday, August 24, 2024, with a visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Christie-Anderes Funeral Home, Waterville.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Prospect Hill Cemetery, north of Blue Rapids. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.

 Memorials are suggested to the Boys and Girls Club of Manhattan and may be sent in care of Christie-Anderes Funeral Home at PO Box 61, Waterville, Kansas 66548.
