Secretary of State Scott Schwab announced that all 105 Kansas counties have successfully completed their post-election audits, as required by state law.
“I am proud to report that all 105 counties have successfully completed their audits,” Schwab said.
These audits ensure that the hand count matches the tabulation machine results. After completing the audit, counties must submit their findings to the Secretary of State’s office for final approval.
“Once again, our clerks have successfully administered another election,” Schwab said. “I extend my gratitude to all our election workers for their hard work.”
