Home Health and Hospice of Dickinson County was recently recognized with the “Superior Performer” Award from Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) for patient satisfaction.

The SHPBest award program was created to acknowledge home health agencies that provide high-quality service to patients on a consistent basis. Angie Johnson, Chief Nursing Officer, said the award is based on giving excellent patient care.

Johnson said that as the only agency in Dickinson County, it’s nice to get appreciation from patients in the area that they live and work in.

Home Health and Hospice of Dickinson County is a non-profit affiliate of Memorial Health System serving patients in Dickinson County and any patients within a 20-mile radius of Abilene and Herington office locations.
