Kansas State University Salina, the Kansas Department of Commerce, and Pure Imagination Labs will break ground on the new K-AIRES Center on Friday, Aug. 30. This cutting-edge spatial computing facility will feature state-of-the-art equipment and immersive technology aimed at revolutionizing education and opening new possibilities.
The center will enable faculty and researchers to use immersive environments for hands-on, industry-focused projects that promote collaborative, multidisciplinary learning. It will also house Pure Imagination Labs, an award-winning independent entertainment studio known for its innovative blend of technology and storytelling.
The ceremony will start at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, south of the netted pavilion at the K-State Salina campus, 2310 Centennial Road.
