CCCHS Lady Tiger Golf Competes at Wamego Invitational

The Clay Center Community High School (CCCHS) Lady Tiger Golf team competed at Wamego Country Club on Thursday, September 12th. Wamego took first place with a team score of 173, while Clay Center finished in 5th place with a score of 229.

Coach Dick Ahlberg noted the challenge of the course and emphasized the team’s focus on gaining experience and improving. He highlighted the need for better putting as the team continues to work toward being more competitive.

Individual scores for the Lady Tigers were:

– Emma Frigon: 49

– Addy Graham: 59

– Gabi Koppes: 60

– Ezri Catlin: 61

The next tournament for the Lady Tigers is scheduled for September 17th in McPherson at 1:00 p.m.
