The Kansas Manufacturing Council (KMC) announced the eight products advancing to the next round of voting in the 2024 Coolest Thing Made in Kansas People’s Choice tournament.

Presented by Forvis Mazars, nearly 21,000 votes were cast by Kansans during the first round, which ended on Wednesday, September 11th.

The top eight products from the first round’s head-to-head matchups will now move on to the second round.

Second round voting is now open. Kansans can cast their votes in the People’s Choice tournament until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25th.

The four winners from this round will advance to the final competition for the most votes.

This year’s competition also includes a Coolest Innovation category, with 12 of the 28 nominated companies submitting details on their innovations. KMC will reveal the four finalists on October 1st.

Winners of both contests will be announced on Wednesday, October 9th, during the 2024 Kansas Manufacturing Summit at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Wichita.
