Join the 60th Annual Meeting of the Kansas-Oklahoma Arkansas River Commission on October 2: Public Participation and Livestream Available

The 60th annual meeting of the Kansas-Oklahoma Arkansas River Commission (KOARC) will take place on Wednesday, October 2, at 9:00 a.m. in the Sedgwick Room at the K-State Research and Extension – Sedgwick County Education Center, located at 7001 W 21st Street N, Wichita, Kansas.

The meeting is open to the public and will also be livestreamed on the Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Division of Water Resources YouTube channel. Those interested in water-related issues in the lower Arkansas River basin in Kansas and Oklahoma are encouraged to attend or watch online.

Kansas and Oklahoma established the Arkansas River Compact in 1965 to promote cooperation between the states, ensure fair distribution and development of the river’s waters, provide oversight for the basin’s water management, and support pollution reduction efforts in both states.
