Faith & Blue 2024 to Offer Free Food, Entertainment, and Fun in Chapman

By: Ryan Duey

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and Chapman Police Department are coming together to host its Faith & Blue 2024 event on Saturday, October 12th at 4:30 p.m. This free event, thanks to the Dickinson County Community Foundation, will be held in the Chapman High School Auditorium.

Sheriff Deputy Brandon Depew said the Faith & Blue Organization started 5 years ago, and Dickinson County started their event 3 years ago, with a twist.

This event will feature a First Responder Cookoff with attendees getting to enjoy a free meal as the different departments compete for the best Pulled Pork. There will also be three entertainers performing for the audience, with one lucky winner having the “Best Seat in the House” to the shows on a loveseat that they get to take home at the end of the evening, thanks to Londeen’s Hardware and Furniture. Depew talked about the three performers.

Raffle tickets for the “Best Seat in the House” can be purchased at the 4:10 Irish Den. More information on the event can be found on the Chapman Police Department Facebook page.
